What Is "The
Faith"?
Questionnaire
Do you think you know the fundamentals of
"the faith" once delivered to the saints? You may find yourself in for
a surprise. This test may show you that you have been misled in some important
areas of doctrine by your teachers or others you look to for truth.
Section #1:
John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life."

- Can anyone ever be good enough or do enough good

- Can a person ever be so bad that God won't let them

- Does God choose people for heaven/salvation based
upon Him knowing they would accept Christ? [yes, no]
- Can a person be sure they are saved (they are
guaranteed a place in heaven) before they die? [yes, no]

- Will anyone get to heaven without Christ as their
Saviour? [yes, no]
- Did Jesus pay the complete penalty for the sins of
the people he died for? [yes, no]
- Is is possible to truly repent of your sins in a way
that is acceptable to God before becoming saved? [yes, no]
- Is it possible to have saving faith in Christ BEFORE
becoming saved? [yes, no]
- Is it possible to believe in Christ in a way that is
acceptable to God, BEFORE becoming saved? [yes, no]
- Did Jesus pay the complete penalty for the sins of
EVERYONE who ever lived in the entire world? [yes, no]
- Whose faith saves a person, their own faith or the
faith of Jesus Christ? [their own, the faith of Christ]

- Are a person's works necessary for salvation?

- Is a person's obedience to any commandments in the

- Is there anything a person must DO to become saved?

- Can a person become saved without doing anything

- Is the idea of a trinity, a "triune
godhead" true/biblical? [yes, no]
- Is Jesus eternal God? (Is he the same as Jehovah

- Is the "Holy Spirit" a person? [yes,

- Will non-Christians be in heaven? [yes, no]
- Is the lake of fire mentioned in the book of
Revelation:
- a place of eternal suffering for the damned?

- Was the world and all creation (plants, animals,
mankind) spoken into existence by God? [yes, no]
- Are the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts of the
Bible without error? [yes, no]
- Are there any prophets or religious leaders alive
today who we can trust as much as the Bible? [yes, no]
- Are there any prophets or religious leaders of the
past who spoke and/or wrote anything outside of the Bible, whom we can trust
as much as the Bible? [yes, no]
- Is the Greek text used in the more faithful bible
translations such as the King James version called the "Wescott-Hort"
Greek text? [yes, no]
Section #10:
- Is "tongues speaking" a gift that is still
active in the true church today? [yes, no]
- Revelation 22:18 says: "For I testify unto
every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man
shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are
written in this book". Is this verse referring to the entire Bible or
just the book of Revelation? [entire-Bible, just Revelation]
- Matthew 7:7-8 says: "Ask, and it shall be given
you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For
every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him
that knocketh it shall be opened."
Does this mean we can we get whatever we ask from God - as long as we have
enough faith? [yes, no]
