Simplicity In Christ

Compared To The Elaborate Salvation Program Of The Catholic Church

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:3

 
There is a BIG difference between true Christianity and Catholicism. True biblical Christianity is much simpler than Catholicism.
 
In true Christianity:
 
– All MEDIATION is to and through JESUS, without the need to go to or through Mary or any saints or a Catholic priest or anyone else!
 
– All the WORK needed for the salvation of souls was done by JESUS at the cross, without the need for penance, purgatory, the eucharist, the mass, mass cards, scapulars, rosaries, statues, confession, last rites or anything else!
 
– All SPIRITUAL TRUTH is found in the WORD OF GOD, without the need for papal decrees, church councils, catechisms, the magisterium or anything else!
 
Now isn’t that a LOT simpler than Catholicism’s elaborate, complex and confusing plan of salvation as shown in the diagram above? Does this simplicity reveal to us anything? YES INDEED! The apostle Paul specifically warned the Corinthian church to not be corrupted by false teachings, primarily regarding “the simplicity that is in Christ” (the simplicity of the TRUE gospel – that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ alone).
 
So I ask you now, which is simpler? The true gospel or the Catholic gospel? True Christianity or Catholicism? I think you should be able to figure that out without further assistance. May the God of the Bible richly bless you as you BOW to the authority of His WORD and His SAVIOR and His GOSPEL and as you cease BOWING to Catholic graven images and to the many complicated false teachings and practices of the Catholic Church.
