Have You Been Born Twice?

twins born twice born-again spiritual rebirth

Have YOU been born twice? This may seem like a very strange question to you but Jesus Christ said:

“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” [John 3:3]

If being born a second time is essential for getting to heaven, then we all need to know what Jesus meant when he said that we must be born again. Jesus explained that he was speaking about our spirit (our soul), not our body:

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” [John 3:6].

The Bible says we are born spiritually dead:

“And you hath he quickened [made alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins” [Ephesians 2:1]

For a person to be ready for heaven, a spiritual birth must take place:

“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” [John 3:4-5].

This spiritual birth does not occur by water baptism. It is a gift from God who makes people realize the following things if and when He saves them:

1. God sees us as totally unfit for heaven:

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” [Romans 3:10-12]

2. Our sins separate us from God:

“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” [Isaiah 59:1-2]

3. If we die unsaved God will hold us accountable for every sinful thought, word and deed:

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” [Matthew 12:37-38]

4. Eternity in hell awaits us if God does not give us a complete pardon for every sin:

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” [Rev 20:15] “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night” [Rev 14:11]

5. Only God has the power to remove sin from us:

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them” [Ezekiel 36:26-27]

6. The sins of every person who will ever get into heaven were paid for in full by Jesus Christ:

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities … All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” [Isaiah 53:5-6]

7. God does not compare us with other people. According to Him, we all deserve to go to hell:

“Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” [Luke 18:10-14]

Are you interested in being born twice?

If you really do care about the eternal destiny of your soul, we strongly urge you to read the Bible carefully, asking God to show you the truth about how sinful He sees you and about how holy He is…

“Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.” [Numbers 15:31]

Find out why Jesus Christ left heaven and came to earth to suffer the full fury of the wrath of God. Was it for YOUR sins? If not, then you will indeed be damned because there is no other Saviour…

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” [Isaiah 43:11]

“And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.” [1John 4:14]

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” [Acts 4:12]

Jesus is not your Saviour until He has converted you…

“Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” [Matt 18:3].

You must repent of your sins, forsaking them and hating them as God hates them…

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.” [Ezekiel 14:6]

Ask God to give you a hatred for your sins and to enable you to faithfully serve Him.

Cry out to God to have mercy on you and to save your lost soul from the wrath to come – before its too late…

“God be merciful to me a sinner” [Luke 18:13].

Those who are born twice (physically and spiritually) will die once (physical death).

Those who are born once (physical birth only), will die twice (physical death and spiritual death in the lake of fire).

SO, HAVE YOU BEEN BORN TWICE?

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Jesus Christ – [John 5:24]
