A Friendly Warning

Most reasonable people stop their cars when they see a flashing red railroad crossing sign or a sign that says ‘Bridge Out’. They also don’t go running into a burning building even if they are starving and the burning building happens to be their favorite restaurant. Yet why do these same people ignore warnings of the most serious danger of all … the danger of being lost in the fires of Hell for all eternity?

 

Why most people ignore God’s urgent warnings:

 

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” [John 3:19]

 

“the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness” [1 Corinthians 1:18]

 

“… when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” [Romans 1:21]

 

God says this is how most people worship Him:

 

“in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” [Matthew 15:9] “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” [Romans 10:3]

 

How you are made ready for Heaven:

 

You need to realize that if you die lost, God will hold you accountable for every one of your wicked thoughts, words and deeds of your entire lifetime:

 

“every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” [Matt 12:36]. You will then have to spend eternity in hell paying for your sins: “the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction” [2 Thes 1:7-9] “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” [Rev 20:15] “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night” [Rev 14:11].

 

Read the Bible carefully, asking God to show you the truth about how sinful He sees you and about how holy He is. Find out why Jesus Christ left heaven and came to earth to suffer the full fury of the wrath of God. Was it for YOUR sins? If not, then you will indeed be damned because there is no other Saviour: “for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved” [Acts 4:12]. He is not your Saviour until He has converted you: “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” [Matt 18:3].

 

Cry out to God to have mercy on you and to save your lost soul from the wrath to come – before its too late.

 

YOU HAVE NOW BEEN WARNED.

 

IF YOU DIE WITHOUT THE SALVATION THAT JESUS ALONE CAN PROVIDE, YOU WILL END UP IN HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY. THANK GOD THAT SOMEONE CARED ENOUGH ABOUT YOUR SOUL TO WARN YOU WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME TO CRY OUT TO GOD TO SAVE YOU.
