The Gospel In 3 Words

The Gospel of Jesus Christ in three words is simply this: “Jesus – Is – Lord”!

Allah is not Lord.
Aphrodite is not Lord.
Apollo is not Lord.
Baal is not Lord.
Buddha is not Lord.
Confucius is not Lord.
Dagon is not Lord.
Dionysus is not Lord.
Gaia is not Lord.
Hermes is not Lord.
Isis is not Lord.
Jupiter is not Lord.
Mohammed is not Lord.
Neptune is not Lord.
Odin is not Lord.
Osiris is not Lord.
Pan is not Lord.
Pope Francis is not Lord.
Poseidon is not Lord.
Quetzalcoatl is not Lord.
Shiva is not Lord.
Vishnu is not Lord.
Zeus is not Lord.
The intelligence of man is not Lord.
And YOU sure aint Lord!
ONLY JESUS IS LORD.

Just because God gives you some freedom (and comfort) in this life does not mean it will always be that way. At death you will have no choice but to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, and all that that means:

That Jesus is eternal God.
That Jesus ultimately has total control over you forever.
That Jesus is the Judge over all the wicked thoughts, words and deeds on your life’s record.
That Jesus has the power to cast you out of His holy presence and into everlasting punishment in Hell where there is no escape and no reprieve, ever.
That in this life, Jesus is your only hope for the forgiveness of your sins.
That only Jesus’ death on the cross is acceptable payment for your sins, no matter how much you want to believe that you are a good person or that your good deeds will outweigh your bad deeds.
That only Jesus – of all men – proved His claim to be God in the flesh, by rising from the dead and by being seen of hundreds of eyewitnesses who were then willing to die rather than deny the reality of that event.

And yes, the claim that “Jesus Is Lord” (and all that that means) really is The Gospel of Jesus Christ!
