Why Christians Must Share The Gospel

 

 

“Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” [Matthew 18-20]

 

Christian must share the Gospel because:

  1. God commands us to preach the Word: [2 Tim 4:1-5]

  2. People are dying without Christ every minute: [Joel 3:12-14]

  3. God saves people through preaching of the Word: [Rom 10:17]

  4. God wants us to be his ambassadors: [2 Cor 5:18-20]

  5. We must redeem the time before Christ returns: [Eph 5:15-21]

  6. Christ commands us to go: [Matt 28:19-20]

  7. Christ commands us to bear fruit: [John 15:1-8 & Luke 13:6-9]

  8. It is the least we can do considering what Christ did for us: [Luke 17:7-10]

  9. We are expected to warn the lost to flee God’s wrath lest their blood be on our hands: [Ezek 33:7-9]

“He that winneth souls is wise” [Proverbs 11:30]

 

“Whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven” [Matt 10:33]

 

“A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none; cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering him said, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. [Luke 13:6-9]

“When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked of his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand” [Ezekiel 33:8]
