18 Protestants Being Burned Alive By The Catholic Church In 1528

What did these people do to justify being burned alive?  Well, some of them may have refused to go to [the Catholic] church.  Others may have refused to believe that the Catholic communion wafer is really God in the form of a cracker.  Some denied that the popes were infallible.  Others had the nerve to say that the authority of the Bible is above the authority of the church of Rome.  A few may have merely possessed a copy of the Bible in their native language.  All had one thing in common – they all loved the living and true God more than their own lives and refused to partake of the idolatrous false Christian religion of Rome.
