This website is a non-profit, self-supporting Bible-teaching Christian website, though not a government registered non-profit corporation or organization. By non-profit, we mean that nothing is sold here and no donations are requested. Any hard-copy printed materials that a visitor requests will be mailed free of charge as a service of this ministry. However, at the moment, we do not specifically offer any printed materials by mail. If and when we do mail out materials, it is at our discretion with no warrantees or delivery commitments of any kind.
 
Some materials of this website have been derived or imported from other websites. We have done our best to avoid posting any literature or other materials that are copyrighted, unless those copyrights expressly allow reposting. Most materials posted at our site are original works of RM Kane or his friends and associates, although authorship is not always expressly noted in those materials. Other materials that are not classified as such original works are typically non-copyrighted literature from Bible preachers and teacher of long ago, before copyrighting even existed. When we post more modern (contemporary) articles from other websites, we do our best to ensure that they were not copyrighted and that we listed the source of the material in a footnote.  If you feel that any publisher or author’s rights have been infringed upon, please let us know as soon as possible.  If a text article, a graphic, an audio message or a video is copyrighted, we typically link directly to the originator’s (or author’s) website or we embed their web page into a web page on our website, which also is done by a link to the originator’s website.
 
Our website does display a number of book cover images from copyrighted materials. We either do this in some of the parodies on our website or we do this to provide a quick visual cue as to what our articles are about. Most of those book covers are considered thumbnail size. We believe that the way that we have used these book cover images provides free advertising for the book publishers and authors while at the same time, allowing us to stay within “fair use” guidelines as described in this quote from wikipedia.org:
 
“Fair use is a legal doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders. It is one type of limitation and exception to the exclusive rights copyright law grants to the author of a creative work. Examples of fair use in United States copyright law include commentary, search engines, criticism, parody, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving and scholarship. It provides for the legal, unlicensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test.”
 
Our posting of book cover images by any particular author does not mean that we endorse that book or everything in it. Similarly, our posting of any writings by the various authors represented on our site is by no means a blanket endorsement of every bit of theology in those writings or in other writings by those authors that may appear elsewhere.
 
Lastly, we strongly encourage all visitors to check out everything we say with what the Bible has to say and to seek help from several trusted Bible teachers (per Proverbs 11:14) if something is unclear to you or if it does not line up with what you have read in the Bible. We don’t claim to have cornered the market on every aspect of biblical truth and that everyone else has got it all wrong. However, we have taken the time to study many spiritual issues, especially regarding soteriology (the doctrine of salvation through Jesus Christ) and so we offer our experience, knowledge and resources to others who seek to worship God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).
