“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” [Matthew 5:18]

 

Yes, the word “damnation” is nowhere to be found in the New King James Version.  But you will find it in many verses in the “old” or 1611 King James Version:

 

1. Matthew 23:14

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.”
