The Two Roads Of Life –

Which Road Are You On?

 
Did you know there are basically only two roads of life that a person can be traveling down? Yes, only two. One is called the wide road and the other is called the narrow road. Most people are on the wide road. A lot fewer people are on the narrow road. The narrow road leads to eternal life in Heaven. The wide road leads to eternal separation from God and eternal suffering in Hell.
 
The Lord Jesus Christ rules and reigns in Heaven. If you don’t know Him or don’t want to know Him then you are on the wide road. If you think that your good deeds will outweigh your bad deeds on Judgment Day then you are on the wide road. If you think you qualify for Heaven by being in the “right” church or religion or religious organization, then you are on the wide road.
 
So, how do people get on the narrow road that leads to Heaven? Well, since you cannot be born on that road you need to be “born again”. You need a supernatural spiritual birth that puts you on the road to Heaven. And how does THAT happen, you may ask? God tells us here, in the Bible:
 
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6
 
If you want to spend eternity with God in Heaven instead of spending eternity in Hell paying for your sins yourself, then you need to seriously SEEK God by reading the Bible for yourself to find out who this God is who made you and who you are accountable to for every single thought, word and deed of your entire lifetime. Don’t expect God to welcome you into HIS Heaven, to spend eternity with HIM after you have ignored Him your entire life or after you spent your life looking for the kind of god that YOU wanted, rather than the kind of God who sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to offer up His life as a sacrificial Lamb to pay for our sins as the prophet Isaiah foretold here:
 
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” – Isaiah 53:5-6
 
There is NO OTHER road to Heaven, other than the road that leads to the cross where Jesus died. There is NO OTHER religion that provides a Savior to pay for our sins. There is NO OTHER payment for our sins that God will ACCEPT other than the payment that the Lord Jesus Christ made when He willingly offered up His life as a FULL PAYMENT for all the sins of all the people who will trust in Jesus and His sacrifice ALONE for their salvation.
 
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12
