What Hell Will Be Like

As Contrasted To This Life

People who think there is no life after death.
People who think they don’t need to be Born-Again.
People who think they are good enough to get to heaven.
People who think they are in the right religion (the one that will get them to heaven).
People who think suicide is a way out of their problems.

The truth is, all those kinds of people listed above will be in hell.

How God Graciously Blesses You In This Life	What Hell Will Be Like Without God’s Grace
SLEEP & REST after a weary day.	NO REST DAY OR NIGHT [see Revelation 14:11]
JOY & GLADNESS. Things to be happy about. The ability to enjoy a sunny day, to go sight-seeing, to enjoy the vivid colors and sounds of nature, to take a deep breath of fresh air, hug another human being, sing, dance, laugh and play.	NOTHING TO ENJOY EVER. Eternal darkness [see Matthew 25:30]. Everything to dread. Everything will involve suffering. You will hear things you will hate hearing. You will smell things that will be a terrible stench in your nostrils. You will feel horrible pain with no relief. If you are able to see anything, it will horrify you. You will not be able to tune anything out and when you receive a supernatural body at Judgment Day, that body will never age, never die, never lose consciousness and that body will probably have heightened senses that will make your suffering all the more unbearable.
DRINKS to enjoy and to satisfy your thirst.	UNENDING UNQUENCHABLE THIRST and not even a drop of water to cope with it. [see Luke 16:24]
FOOD to satisfy your hunger and to enjoy the flavors of. Money to buy things that give you pleasure. The ability to work and get satisfaction out of your accomplishments and out of the wages you earn.	NOTHING to eat ever again and no way to satisfy any of your desires, cravings or lusts.
RELIEF FROM MISERY… A cool breeze on your face on a hot summer day, clothes to keep you warm on a cold winter night, medicines to ease physical pain when injured, alcohol and drugs to numb mental anguish.	PAIN OF ALL KINDS AND OF GREAT INTENSITY. Physical pain, emotional pain. Weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth [see Matthew 13:41-42] without any relief EVER.
COMPANIONSHIP & FRIENDSHIP. Good company to enjoy, friends and relatives to talk to, confide in, fellowship with, lean on during tough times.	LONELINESS, isolation, frustration, dread and regret for all eternity.
RELAXATION. Music, TV, books, sports, hobbies and other entertainment to take your mind off of problems and relax you.	CONSTANT MENTAL & PHYSICAL TORMENT… no escape from the constant torment and suffering of hell, surrounded by the screams and wails and cursings of the rest of the damned. [see Luke 16:24]
HOPE that tomorrow will bring a better day, that unhappy circumstances will improve, that bad situations will eventually come to an end.	NO HOPE EVER FOR MILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF YEARS AND BEYOND. An enormous sense of despair, knowing that your situation, as intolerable as it is, will never change for the better and that you cannot die so that death will never come, therefore relief will never come. Also a pardon will never come, because you will continue to sin in hell. Your thoughts will become more and more evil, and wicked and depraved since there will be nothing positive in your environment to cause you to improve morally or spiritually. Everything in your environment and in YOU will become more and more corrupt. Instead of becoming more fit for heaven, instead of becoming reformed or rehabilitated, you will become more and more unfit for heaven, more vile and ungodly than the day you died.
TIME to read the Bible and find out who God is and what He requires of you. TIME to learn about His magnificent plan of salvation, the sacrifice of His beloved Son Jesus Christ. TIME to cry out to God for mercy on your soul that He might spare you from the wrath to come.	TIME AS WE KNOW IT WILL END. ETERNITY WILL BEGIN. You will hate yourself for ignoring God’s warnings and for ignoring or making fun of His messengers. You will hate God more than you ever did in this lifetime. You will despise His holiness, His righteousness, and His Justice because these attributes of God will be revealed to you by your ETERNAL PUNISHMENT for your sins. [see Hebrews 9:27-28]
THE POSSIBILITY for people to repent and come to Christ for salvation and to serve & worship Him now and forever.	NO MORE POSSIBILITY FOR SALVATION. You will be lost and damned for ever and ever. No desire to worship God ever. The restraining power of God’s spirit towards sin will be removed. You will hate the idea of bowing down to Him and worshipping Him because you will no longer have the opportunity to know of His grace and mercy and love. All you will know is His unending wrath. [see Jeremiah 8:20]

To sum it all up, hell will be everything evil and corrupt about this world on an enormously greater scale. There will be a total absence of anything good, lovely, pleasant or holy. It will be a place of tremendous darkness, evil, pain, suffering, hatred, fear, ungodliness, isolation and torment. There will be absolutely no rest or relief from any of the agony, terror or despair that makes hell what it is to the damned.
