THE LORD – MY ALL

Lord, You Are what I am not but what I hope be by Your Grace by Your Spirit by Your Word.
 
Lord, You show me  a thousand times a day in a thousand different ways that this world is not my home, and I'm just passing through.
 
Lord, Some days I feel so close to you Other days so far away... Lord, why is it so hard to be consistent from one day to the next... why is my flesh so weak?
 
Lord, I thank You for Peter, a man I can relate to, a man who was full of himself confident in himself and when his self failed him he came to the end of himself and came to You.
 
Lord, a war rages inside me that I'm not sure I know how to fight... what I do know is that by myself it's a war I cannot win without You.
