There Is No Such Thing As The Age Of Accountability

There Is No Such Thing As The Age Of Accountability

There is no such thing as ” the Age of Accountability” as most every one describes it…

There are 4 of God’s holy and elect prophets recorded for us in Holy Scripture, whereas these were redeemed while they were yet fetuses. These are… Jacob (Romans 9); David (Psalm 139); Jeremiah (Jeremiah 11:4-5) and John the Baptist (Luke 1:41,44).

Since even as with a fetus has redemption taken place then a fetus is fallen as is any and every son of Adam. Sinlessness is to be found only in the imputation of righteousness in the courts of heaven, 1 John 3:9, but never in this life in this world, Romans 7. Sin separates man from his Creator as did Adam. Being we all effectively stood there (positionally) in the Garden having likewise sinned against God (we know we have sinned from conception because we are assigned to dwell in “the results” of our sin here on this sin-cursed earth… which we brought on ourselves). We come into this world with all the lusts innate in man which God addresses by saying…

“The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. ” Psalm 58:3.

If this is not accountability, then what is?

To use the young Jesus as a model for claiming the Age of Accountability begins at 12 is the same as saying sinful humanity and the Living God are one and the same. By no means should anyone ever liken God, the Person, to man, the person. Man is of his father the devil, John 8:44. This passage means man’s next of kin is Satan himself as far as there being nothing in man of a redeemed spiritual nature. We come into this world “athios” which means “without God” in Ephesians 2:12. From this word we get our English word “atheist.”

We therefore conclude that by no design of God is there such a thing as an “Age of Accountability” since in their fetal state of being, forgiveness of sin has happened as already noted. Such seeks to elevate fallen man to the status of a holy one of God… an elect, redeemed, made sinless by imputation of Christ’s righteousness to his account but never able to reach perfection to an absolute degree while in the flesh in this life as Romans 7 teaches us.

Sinless perfection from the fetal state is one of the many epitaphs given to Mary who herself admits to being redeemed as in Luke 1:47. To be redeemed means personal sin dwells in the inner man. This explanation given by Mary as being born sinless she herself does not admit to, thus evidencing her worshipers as blasphemer’s and idolater’s and completely ignorant of the doctrine of Original Sin in Holy Scripture. Fallen man is simply that, fallen. No decree of God is found in all of Holy Scripture coming from God whereas anyone other than He Himself, Jesus Christ, came into this world sinless.

In closing, to review, to claim there is such a decree of God rendering persons until age 12 or 20 “unaccountable before God” due to their age, is to talk heresy. Such a thing as Age of Accountability infers that the Lord Jesus Christ grants absolute righteousness and then takes it back thus making Him look like a failure and a fickle Savior at best. Is this not what Christendom is all about as they evidence this themselves in these End Times according to 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 and 2 Timothy 4:3,4?

The scheme that fallen man is sinless involves the Co-Redeemer’s preaching that he is not as bad as God says he is as in Romans 3:10 and following. Even to say fallen man can turn from his wicked ways because he desires to is a lie according to Proverbs 13:19b, et al. It’s always been in the best interests of Co-Redeemer’s to make themselves look better than what is said by God of the fallen in Holy Scripture. Hence these “No Accountability until age 12 or 20” schemes are found being preached by Co-Redeemer’s in their churches. This, of course, means fallen man “understand’s” his sinful state of being as he preaches contrary to Romans 3:10.

Age of Accountability preaches No Accountability. This preaching can not be seen in any other way. If it were true, then it’s infinitely better to die before age 12 or 20 and be whisked away to heaven than it is to be 13 years of age, die, and be subject to death everlasting.

Lastly, anyone preaching the Savior Jesus Christ is fickle so as to decree anyone sinless up unto his 12th or 20th birthday only to take it back deserves what he gets from God in Judgment.

Christ Died For The Ungodly

by Horatius Bonar

The divine testimony concerning man is, that he is a sinner. God bears witness against him, not for him; and testifies that "there is none righteous, no, not one"; that there is "none that doeth good"; none "that understandeth"; none that even seeks after God, and, still more, none that loves Him (Psa. 14:1-3; Rom. 3:10-12). God speaks of man kindly, but severely; as one yearning over a lost child, yet as one who will make no terms with sin, and will "by no means clear the guilty." <continued>
